Hi Folks,

Two messages for today:

1. Please remember that the deadline to submit events for the Feb. Tucson Peace Calendar is Jan. 15th. Please submit them via our website: peacecalendar.org

2. The Tucson Peace Center board has asked me to send out this reminder of a great community-building event this weekend:

STAND UP TUCSON

Saturday, January 14, 2012

10:00am until 9:00pm

Where: Armory Park

"It's time to invite EVERYONE to STAND UP and create a new world because.... it's right there just waiting to be seen.
Saturday Jan 14th at Armory Park is YOUR chance to listen, learn, share, sing, dance, eat and brainstorm great things. We've got 5 rockin local bands, inspiring speakers, lots of local organizations and plenty of room for more (like yours) and.... a FREE community meal served at 4pm to all comers, with lots of time and space to discuss and workshop our way into the night and a brand new year.
ACTION SOLUTIONS is the the theme. Come share yours, join others, and make a joyous noise that can be heard across the world. All for free, all for good AAAHHH OOOOOHHH"

As always, if you enter your event via our online submission form at peacecalendar.org, by Dec. 15th, you will not need to send an additional event submission to me to the events email.

December Peace Calendar Deadline: Nov. 15th

Hi Folks,

Hard to believe how time has been flying by!

Please mark your calendars: November 15th is the deadline to send in your December 2011 events for the Tucson Peace Calendar print edition. As always, if you enter your events via our online process (peacecalendar.org) by November 15th, you will not have to send a duplicate event listing request to the events email. All events that are entered online are automatically compiled and considered for the print edition calendar.

If you have any questions or need assistance with the online calendar process, please let me know by contacting me at events@peacecalendar.org

Hello folks,

The deadline for submitting events for the May 2011 print edition of the Tucson Peace Calendar is Friday, April 22nd at midnight.

This will be our last print edition before our summer break. We may have some room to highlight upcoming summer events in the May issue, so send your details in now. Please also update us if your group takes a hiatus in the summer from your regularly scheduled events. You can continue to submit to our online calendar throughout the summer.
