ROUTE 181: FRAGMENTS OF A JOURNEY IN PALESTINE-ISRAEL

This documentary is made by two consummate film-makers. It's deceptively simple, but (IMO) so well made .
Racheli.

In March we showed the first part: SOUTH.

In April we showed part II: CENTER.

Now May 12 we will show Part III, NORTH., the concluding part of this extraordinary film.

7 pm Wednesday, May 12 at Sonora Co-Housing, 501 E. Roger Rd. (north side of Roger, 3rd driveway west of 1st Ave.)
Film followed by discussion.

*Route 181: Fragments of a Journey in Palestine-Israel. *
By Michel Khleifi, a Palestinian, and Eyal Sivan, an Israeli Jew.

The two movie makers traveled in the summer of 2002 along the imaginary line
of the UN 1947 partition, and gave voice to people they encountered on their
way.
Best,
Racheli. 407-1432

PS While watching all parts has a cumulative effect, each segment stands on its own. Missing either of the other two parts shouldn't keep you from coming to the final segment.
