WILPF is happy to announce that our Tucson Branch welcomes new leadership. The Co-Leaders are Carole Edelsky, recently retired professor from ASU, and Jenise Porter, a new PhD in Education from U of A. Jenise will send out messages to the WILPF e-list starting fairly soon. If you have meetings or events you would like publicized on the E-list, please send full information (including a phone or e-mail address readers can contact for more details) to Jenise at jenisep@gmail.com This new team has promise to lead WILPF in great new directions! Besides smarts and political savvy, they each have a terrific sense of humor! Pat Birnie is fleeing Tucson's summer heat, leaving (tomorrow!) for Maryland, and returning in October.
