Hello folks,

The Tucson Peace Calendar has been on a summer break the past three months, but we are gearing up for our next print issue in September. The deadline for submitting events for the September 2010 issue is Friday, August 20th at midnight.

The easiest way to submit your events is to access the online version of the calendar. The following link will take you to our submission guidelines and allow you to access the online submission form.

All submitted events will be held for moderator approval. You can request a confirmation email so you will know when the event has been accepted.

If you have difficulties submitting your event online, please email the event details to events@peacecalendar.org.

Be sure to include the following information in your event submission:

- Title
- Description
- Location
- Date (and info if it repeats)
- Contact info

All events submitted to the online calendar will be considered for the print calendar.

Also, we have room on the cover pages for a few short articles, announcements, flyers, or other event-related information. Please send these materials by August 20th to events@peacecalendar.org.

On a final note, many of you have recurring events and meetings already listed in our online calendar. Now is a great time to check your event online (http://peacecalendar.org) and update us with any changes. Please send updates to events@peacecalendar.org. If you see any events that are no longer happening, please let us know so we can remove them.
