Tomorrow the Senate will vote on unbelievably historic, sweeping legislation that immunizes an entire class of corporations from redress by The People.
Dubbed the FISA legislation, it is Democrat John D Rockefeller the Fourth's paean to his corporate roots. His partner in protecting telcos from the courts Kit Bond is tired of "liberal activists" trying to expose "these patriotic corporations" to "unwarranted" exposure to the courts. These corporations were "acting in good faith" with the government, after all.
FACT: These corporations, guided by their own attorneys, conspired with the Bush administration, with the knowledge of Nancy Pelosi no doubt, to B-R-E-A-K T-H-E F-I-S-A L-A-W !!!
What other corporations will be next - to receive the Blessings of the Congress that won't protect the People's Rights, but will radically move without shame to create NEW RIGHTS for corporations?
USE the toll-free to call Senators 1-877-331-1223 and demand that they:
1) support the DODD-FEINGOLD amendment to remove immunity, and to
2) vote no on "the underlying FISA bill."
